$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install restartd 

restartd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the restartd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep restartd *

You will get with restartd package name, version, architecture and description in a table

restartd package basic information:
